On afternoon of Sep. 3, Tacheng prefecture and Kingho Group held a signing ceremony. Kingho Group will invest RMB 35 million to build “ONE CITY AND THREE DISTRICTS”.
    With the efforts of high levels, this year Kingho Group and Tacheng prefecture have entered a new period of all-round cooperation that Kingho will invest RMB 35 million to create an industrial plan of “ONE CITY AND THREE DISTRICTS” centering on Hefeng Industrial Park by three stages in the following five years based on comprehensive utilization of oil sand and oil shale in Tacheng prefecture.
It is said that in the “ONE CITY AND THREE DISTRICTS”, “ONE CITY” means that build a “Modern Kingho: New Hefeng Industrial Demonstrative City”; “TRHEE DISTRICTS” indicates that set up an integrated Kingho Urban Complex City with a modern mining area, coal chemical and petrochemical recycling park and Hefeng Park.
    At present, Hoboksar project headquarters is underway in the leadership of Industrial Park Committee. It takes up an area of more than 13 hectares and attracts 15 RMB million within this year. Hopefully, it will be completed in November and able to form accommodation capacity. At that time, the sandbox exhibition of Kingho’s general plan will be presented. The first barrel of oil made of oil sand and the first barrel of tar made of coal will be put out, and relative research will be completely conducted. According to the work plan, general survey of oil sand within Tacheng, as well as partial detailed survey, will be carried out within this year.
    Zhou Xuyong, Member of Tacheng Prefectural Party Committee and vice commissioner of standing administrative office, indicated that in the future, Tacheng prefecture will support Kingho’s development by its project construction in this area and provide necessary resources, policies and supports for “running and commuting” programs. In the meantime, he hopes that Kingho will implement the construction of this project in accordance with the restraint provisions in the contract. The most important thing is to complete the construction of header quarters with accommodation capacity and put out the first oil by the end of this year, which is also a test for Kingho Group. Tacheng prefecture will help it to solve problems in development and make sure a smooth construction of Tacheng project that starts and puts into production earlier in such a way to set a good example for advantageous resources in Hoboksar Autonomous County and even the whole area.
